Management Firm Expands
St Annes based service charge management company Homestead Consultancy Services have taken on the management of a further 325 properties so far during 2009.
This brings the total number of properties in their management to 5,045, spread over 153 developments through-out the North West.
A majority of the new clients are in and around the Preston area, however others are located as far afield as Manchester and Liverpool to expand the companies historic area of operation in the Fylde.
The Wood Street company has a staff of 19, which has increased by three people this year, now covers the entire region from Liverpool in the South to Ambleside in the North and Manchester and Bury in the East.
Managing director David Bentham said: “Homestead have been through a period of rationalisation over the pas 18 months when we have been investing in IT, training and staff.
“This rationalisation has been undertaken to ensure that our company is fit to face the challenges and rigors of service charge and property management for years to come.
“During this period we have not been active in promoting expansion so it is heartening to see an increase in our client base of 6.5 per cent over nine months, which coincided with the most serious financial down turn experienced in living memory.”
