SOME GOOD NEWS IN HARD TIMES

Homestead Consultancy Services Limited, specialist residential service charge managers based in Wood Street in St Annes are pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors. Sheila Payne and Sandra Jagger have both been with Homestead for a number of years dealing with the Company strategy and management of the accounts systems for the 152 developments the company acts for.

In addition two new Property Managers have been appointed to cover Homesteads fast expanding management portfolio. Kevin Oldham is a new appointment to Homestead having previously been with a Housing Association in south Manchester and before that Manchester City Council, and replaces Carl Townson who recently left the company after several years’ diligent service. Caroline Coleman is a qualified Energy Assessor who has been with Homestead for two years dealing firstly with support for the property managers before being promoted to deal with Health and Safety audits and issues and then to the role of property manager.

Emma Miller who came to Homestead as a modern apprentice two years ago moves up to work with Caroline as her office support, this is in keeping with Homesteads policy of youth employment and training. Homesteads current staff of 23 includes six current members who were taken on as trainees. The most recent apprenticeship appointment is Mark Coyle last November who Homestead is supporting through his NVQ in Business Administration. Another recent promotion is Ellie Currie who having obtained a Law Degree at UCLAN on a day release sponsored by Homestead has now taken on responsibility for dealing with day to day legal issues for the Company.

A further recent addition to the team is Mike Cotton who, with 34 years experience in banking brings a wealth of knowledge and knowhow to support the accounts department.
