A St Annes company has been rubbing shoulders with the best in the business at a prestigious awards ceremony – and came out on top.
Fine Lines Decorating Services scooped the small contract award after its work at an exclusive property.
From a list of 35 on the shortlist, the Painters and Decorators Association judged the firm’s work on Sunningdale Court as the best in the UK. It is the first time a company from Lancashire has been nominated and awarded such an accolade.
Andy O’Neill, owner of Fine Lines, said: “We were humbled to be even shortlisted for such a prestigious award and to be there amongst the best of the business was huge for us being such a small company.
“The lads who carried out the work should be proud of what they have achieved.
“All the hard work had paid off and we are delighted to have walked away with this award.
“When I looked at some of previous award winners we were even more humbled as it shows we are in illustrious company. For a small firm to get this far is a great honour.”
Sunningdale’s management company Homestead was so impressed by the finished job that it nominated Fine Lines for the award.
